the rims are alright looking:shrug:, but i couldnt pass them up, but all there going to do is sit in the garage , and only be used at the track:nice:

That alone will probably get your 12 second timeslip! Good luck!

hopfully:nice:you can see the cardbord box in the on pic, those are UPR upper and lower torque box reinformances, and the full lenght subframes are waiting in the garage:D

Be careful on the top end of the track if your running radials up front. They have a tendency to sway a little at speed.

do you mean front runners, or just my regular 245's? i raced my buddies fox with slicks, and front runners, it was my first time runing a car with slicks/skinnies, and at about 80+ it swayed like hell all the way to 125mph.......

It will probably still sway some on the top end. Shouldn't be too bad though. I drove my buddies LS1 Vette that had his regular street tires on the front and et drags on back and it swayed like a mofo. It was a low 13/high 12 second car. The first two passes it spooked me a little, but after that it didn't seem to bother me.

I should add the tire pressure was only around 14 psi.

Don't worry, the axles will go before the tranny! Mine did anyway!

If your still running the stock axles/diff then you may want to be a lttle conservative with the launch. By conservative I mean 3-3500 rpm or so. My axle broke launching at only 3500rpm w/et street radials on a pretty well prepped track. That was with the nitrous though. On motor, it probably would have held up fine to a more aggresive launch. I would strongly suggest you upgrade to a 31 spline setup before you really give it hell. It is just the luck of the draw with these rearends on how much it will hold.

I would try them around 20 psi for starters and go from there.

yeah im still on stock axles/diff, i wont be leaving on the bottle untill i build the rear, i know that just asking for trouble, im pretty sure im just going to go with a 31 spline spool/axles, c-clip eliminaters, girdle, and weld the axle tubes, then i will be leaving off the 2-step on the bottle:drool:

Oh you def. got a great deal thats for sure! I cant wait till the fall when I take the car back and get it retuned and fixed and ready for the track, then I can finally get some sticky tires and take it to the track!:D
