275 is too wide for the front if your planning on dropping 2" or so.

Yup that's exactly why i'm putting some 245s... I'll post some after pics for you guys!

There are some pretty good cheap 275's out there these days.
I don't know how anybody manages to live with big drops like the sportlines, assuming that's the one that slams it. I've had enough trouble with my C springs, mainly dragging the exhaust in steep areas.

I ran 275/40's all around for 2 years or so with no real problems. I just decided to go with a happy medium with my current set of tires, mainly just got tired of 40 series tires. I went with 255/45; fits on the 9" wheel without looking stretched, wide enough for good handling, better ride quality, fills the wheel wells better(vertically).

When I got my tires last month there was about a 5 dollar difference in the price of the 245's versus the 275's. I went with 255's for the front since they were about 35 bucks cheaper than the 245's. Go figure. They price them by demand and availability, so a wider tire is not necessarily more expensive.

I got the same rims, mine are wrapped in 275-40 all the way around. Rubs a little in the front.
