I'm looking at buying a 95 GTS to turn into an ontrack car, (roadcourse) though a somewhat low budget one :P

So anyhow, one I'm looking at is a Blue 95 GTS, 5 spd, 235,000 miles, supposed to run well, tranny is supposed to shift good, clutch has had a slippage problem for a while, body is "perfect" it's been a daily driver for the past 9 years, bone stock except for the gasoline, tires and oil.... He wants $1,650 for it... Is this pretty fair sounding? <assuming description is correct>

and also, I might test drive it/look it over Saturday.. Any suggestions of particular things to look out for? I know almost nothing about SN95's, so I need all the help I can get :P

I appreciate any help! :nice:

Ok, that's what I was thinking.

btw, What's special or not so special about the GTS?

They're just a rare Mustang option really. Basically, they're stripped of the eminities to save on the cost (and weight for the performance minded).

Honestly though, the coolest thing about them is being a GTS and having thier own model. It isn't a stripped down GT, it's a GTS. In 96, they were a GT with the 248A option. Not as cool.

my 94 GT just turned over 204k miles and only major componet to be replaced was the transmission.

I should mention that with just a K&N filter, off road H-pipe and flowmasters it'll lay down 9.7 1/8th miles all nite and still get estimated 22mph or so on highway.

If it's been taken care of, jump on it man.
