Just put in a new clutch and got everything back togeather and started the car. My neutral safety switch is bypassed so i dont have to engage the clutch when starting. (its 5 spd by the way). Anyway it cranked up and about 5 seconds in or so the motor just seized up. It cant be turned by hand. Weird thing though. Car doesn't start unless the clutch is depressed and even with the tranny in neutral when i let the clutch out the motor dies. But when the clutch is in it cranks over fine and revs like a champ so the problem is not in the motor and the clutch seems to be working fine. as in all the gears 1 - R it feels like the tranny is locked up or is stuck in two gears. If you guys have any idea or suggestions im up for it. Thanks.

Regarding the trans being locked up, was there any issues with the trans prior to the clutch swap?
If not, double check your work. Starter, flywheel, clutch. Has to be one of the three unless somebody took the top of the trans off and started screwing around with the shift forks, the trans should be fine.
