Looking For a writeup on Degreeing a 2 Valve

Me and my dad are about to degree my motor and he's done sb fords and chevys, but never a ohc. We just need to find a good write up thats better than what Comp Cams has and I only find bits and pieces when I google it, just a couple of pics and a couple of paragraphs. Thanks for any help.
