Looking for input: the best set of plug wires in the $50-60 range!

I am looking for a new set of wires. I think that im gonna go back to Accell 300+ wires, but want to see what everyone else thinks.

To be totally honest, I buy the Nascar ones from Checker that have the lifetime warranty. Burn one or pull a boot, take em back and get a whole new set. BTW, your car is HAWT

I have not used the accel wire but i like ford racing plug wires and the msd ones have been great. Also used holley's and i have nothing bad to say about them.

I love my Live wires. Great product but they are out of the 50-60 dollar range. cost me around $120.

For that price range I would go with the ford racing 9mm set.

Educate me: What is the average price for plug wires? I've yet to replace them on my ride and its been a while since I replaced wires on any vehicles (3 or 4 years ago for the old explorer). I'm a little shocked at $54 wires....I guess I need to open my eyes.

by some standards, $54 is a cheap set. depending on brand and quality, 75 is about average.

I liked the taylors, but have had issues removing them, sometimes the inside tears out. 3 times is enough for me.
I only used them for the different angle boots, so my headers would stop burning them.
BTW, not so easy to get another, you have to buy another set, and return them to summit. PITA

Other than that i like the fMS ones the best.

Yeah there are definately better wires than the Taylors...they even make better ones themselves. The Thundervolts are pretty mean too, 10mm, but i believe MSD have the highest voltage wires out right now.

I have had great luck with the FMS 9mm........I have had them on and off a few times and they still fit on like new

I've been sticking w/ the 9mm fms wires nate. I've had 3 sets of em' so far. They seem to hold up really good. Not sure how they compare to others from an electrical standpoint but for my intent and purpose were always good enough for me.

i got my FMS 9mms for 30 bucks or something on summit over a year ago. they are great lol.

i dont think it really matters thought, i doubt any difference will be felt over stock or b/w any aftermarket wire. the stock ignition is good for like 300 horse or something.

any good aftermarket set will work great
