looking for new exhaust setup

Ok so I got some bassani longtubes and matching xpipe.
Damn nice ****,but I cant get them to fit the stang, they'll only work on our years with stock heads, I got the holley 17 degrees.

I'm in a bit of sht because I got them coated and I don't think that the shop'll take 'em back.

Anyways, I got them because of the good power and unique sound. I was looking at the reviews on here and I see a lot of good reviews on Dr.Gas xpipes.

so what do you think,
BBK longtubes with catted Dr.Gas X?
I was also thinking of shelling out some more cash and getting a set of Kooks.
Stepped, 3in. collector.

I dunno, this whole crap threw me for a loop here, and I'm trying to assemble a new game plan for my motor buildup.
what do you guys think?

I thought bassani didnt make longtubes for our years. BBK longtubes with catted Dr.Gas X will sound badass though.

yeah they don't, but they'll fit with stock heads. personally, I don't think stepped headers with 3 in collectors are worth it on a stang with stock heads, unless they are ported to hell. I'm actually gonna get a set of kooks custom headers. YEAH!!

the Bassani LT's wont fit ANY aftermarket head?? or wont fit YOUR aftermarket head??

because someday id like to run a set of them on my car (i have the Bassani shorties) but wont if they wont fit either AFR 165/185's or the new Edelbrock heads....

not on 94-95's definately not AFR's, they have the revised exhaust ports, I doubt edelbrock's with fit either. the most likely ones are gonna be the world products roush heads, they are a close fit to the gt-40's and have runners up to 200cc's they're actually some bitchen heads. heavy though.

what a lot of the guys did was to raise the exhaust ports to make a smoother short side radius on the exhast. like on my holley's they moved the face almost to vertical.
