i am located on eastern long island. looking for a dyno shop that is familiar w/ the anderson ford PMS unit.

any help is appreciated.

All the dyno shops on LI are gonna wanna suck you into a chip. Your best bet is buying a datalogging wideband kit and tuning yourself on the street. YOu will get a better tune on the street because its a REAL load on the car unlike a weak 4th gear dyno pull. Stay AWAY from mustang magic

Try www.stangtuning.com for PMS help. I have a PMS and the basics are easy to use.

The problem is, I really don't even know where to start.

car setup is:
stock 302 shortblock
anderson ford cam
edlebrock rpm performer heads
upper and lower trick flow street heat intakes
trick flow roller rockers
new pushrods and lifters
vortec s trim
in tank 255 pump
in line bbk pump
vortec fuel rails
42lb injectors
aeromotive FPR
anderson ford power pipe
80mm maf
75mm tb
anderson ford PMS

the car starts, and runs, although very rough. won't really idle on its own.

I met Sal from powersurge performance today, spoke with him for a few, and also spoke briefly with someone at Mustang Magic.

Sal will not tune the PMS, he pushed for a custom chip at a price of around $750 for all.

Mustang magic said they would tune the PMS, but also offered a chip to the tune of $600 said and done.

Sal's 05 Mustang is hotttttt.

caveman, to answer your question, I got fu cked on a mustang tragic chip. They did a horiffic job. It worked for a little, then did its own thing, then it all went to hell. I took it back and they tried to fix it and failed miserably. I ended up pulling the chip and fixing it myself. Then I bought a new maf and then a PMS and I tune myself now. Now I don't have any issues like I did with the tragic chip. Stick with your PMS. try www.stangtuning.com for advice. I can try and help you with a start up/idle tune but WOT I can't help much with w/o a wideband. Do you have the old or new pms?

Like Mike said, get a wideband kit and tune it yourself. heck, go over one evening to Mikes houe and have him show ya the basics of tuning and how to read your wideband.

if you want a good price on the innovative lm-1 kits, i got the connections... right, mike?

From what ive hear from lots of people, id have to agree with staying away from mustang magic
Pampena, in ronkonkoma will probably do it.
Dont know anyone whos used them, but they were one of my bf's accounts at his old job and he says Rays a good guy and knows his stuff.
