I have a explorer intake, and I got the bottom painted a " Ford Grey". Well Im looking to do something with the Upper. Has anyone painted there upper? Im looking at maybe Powder Coating, but from some of the prices Ive seen it might be little to expensive. Any other ideas, or things people have done out there to there Upper intake to dress it up... thanks.

I like powder coating. It was only $100 to have my upper intake powdercoated.

I spray bombed mine with hi-temp gloss black... looks just as good as powdercoating even after 8 years of driving.

I just painted my upper with some left over paint from my car. I bead-blasted the lower and left it @ that. If I had it to do over again, I would without a doubt go black on the upper.

Mine painted with high-temp engine enamel. I suggest you definitely use a primer, this stuff has adhesion issues and will chip off easily without a good primer base.
