Looking for some suspension advice.

First off, i'm new to the New Edge world. I just recently bought my 02 GT Vert and my goal for the car is to have it as a cruiser that is fun in the twisties with the odd autocross/trackday events. Suspension wise, what makes more sense: Coilovers or Lowering springs? What are suggestions for the rest? I am thinking rear upper and lower control arms? Apparently replacing the convertibles subframe connectors are pretty much a must? What about changing out the K frame and front control arms? Worth it?
