Well my new 95 gt needs some new tires. It has cobra rims on it so the tires are 255/45/17's. The rear tires are goodyear eagle gsc's i believe and the fronts are kuhmo supra 712s. The rears are pretty much bald and looks like they were over inflated (center is wore out more). The fronts are not as bad but are close to the wear bars. I want a good performance tire that is good in dry and wet conditions as i will get caught in the rain every once in awhile but i will not drive it on snow so that doesnt matter. I would prefer a decent treadlife and a reasonable price. I dont take it to the track or anything like that it is my daily driver that i like to have fun in. I have done some looking and i see that kumho ectsa mx's seem like a good tire and tirerack wants 128 a tire. There are no local kumho dealers here so i would have to get them online if i ended up with them. The bfgoodrich g fore t/a kdw's sound like a good tire from what i have read on here and the local shops do carry bfgoodrich tires so i could check prices with them, but i think they are a little higher than i want to spend. Also firestone firehawk wide ovals caught my eye for some reason. I figure most of the money that is saved buy online vs local tire shop would be spent on the shipping right? So any input is welcome.
