Are you doing the install yourself? Now as far as that Chevelle goes is he still going by the original 1970 gross HP rating...and i have to make a suggestion to you. You REALLY need to ditch those NPI cams. KB or not they will still hurt your power in the upper RPM's. At the very least switch to stock PI cams. It will make a HUGE difference.GDawg said:![]()
Btw, I'm recently divorced and now making more money than my ex and I combined when we were together. I get to do whatever I want now and still have a hot girlfriend for my personal pleasure...![]()
You should have seen the FedEx guy that delivered it... he had a huge grin on his face. He wanted to see the Mustang it was going on. He told me he would have to watch out for me on the street after the install. I asked him what he has... he said, "A 70 Malibu"... Not too sure I could still beat him with the SC. He's claiming 475hp.
Yes, I'm NPI. 71K on the odometer. This is a 9psi, intercooled, switch chip, their cold air setup and a 90mm MAF (and I have a 75mm TB).
I've decided to buy a new (automatic) Mazda6 for my daily commute and bring out "Wildfire" on the weekends for fun. I'm getting ready to change jobs right after I get back from Cabo san Lucas (Cabo Wabo) next month. In between jobs I'm going to take a week off to do the install. It's hard to wait but I don't want to have to do this little by little.
I'll take some more pictures in a little bit and post them. I need a beer right now after my commute home from work. The traffic was horrible.

Glad to here you got the right one. I hate to ask you this but can you take some pics of some of the brackets you have? I think i am still missing some. I'm sorry to keep bugging you like this but you have been more help by showing these pictures than KB ever has. I can kinda figure out what i'm missing by seeing what you have. There should be an upper alternator mount bracket where your plug wires mount and a big heavy steel main bracket. I'm curious to see what they look like. Thanks again for you help man.
