Looky what just came in...

Btw, I'm recently divorced and now making more money than my ex and I combined when we were together. I get to do whatever I want now and still have a hot girlfriend for my personal pleasure... :D

You should have seen the FedEx guy that delivered it... he had a huge grin on his face. He wanted to see the Mustang it was going on. He told me he would have to watch out for me on the street after the install. I asked him what he has... he said, "A 70 Malibu"... Not too sure I could still beat him with the SC. He's claiming 475hp.

Yes, I'm NPI. 71K on the odometer. This is a 9psi, intercooled, switch chip, their cold air setup and a 90mm MAF (and I have a 75mm TB).

I've decided to buy a new (automatic) Mazda6 for my daily commute and bring out "Wildfire" on the weekends for fun. I'm getting ready to change jobs right after I get back from Cabo san Lucas (Cabo Wabo) next month. In between jobs I'm going to take a week off to do the install. It's hard to wait but I don't want to have to do this little by little.

I'll take some more pictures in a little bit and post them. I need a beer right now after my commute home from work. The traffic was horrible.

:SNSign:
Are you doing the install yourself? Now as far as that Chevelle goes is he still going by the original 1970 gross HP rating...and i have to make a suggestion to you. You REALLY need to ditch those NPI cams. KB or not they will still hurt your power in the upper RPM's. At the very least switch to stock PI cams. It will make a HUGE difference.

Here's a few more pics guys. I took more of the other stuff I received but the girlfriend came over and I didn't get the last ones resized. I'm too tired to finish but here's some of the ones requested.

man I don't know if you want me turning wrenches on that thing... but at least if we break something we can cruise to NAPA in style :) 3 weeks!

Thanks for the pics man!! I think you may have the same problem as me though. That looks like a 99+ kit not a 96-98. Those two places you pointed to and think they are coolant temp sensors, 1 is, 1 isn't. The one that actually has the black sensor in it is in the Intake runner and is the intake air temp sensor. The hole that is in the aluminum crossover that you pointed to is for one of your coolant temp sensors. The other should be on the other side of the manifold directly under the thermostat housing. What install manuals did you get with your kit? There should be a real thick one that says 99-04 and then I'm guessing you should have recieved the thinner one the says 96-98 supplement to KB install manual. It will show all the differences between the 99-04 kits and the 96-98. You'll get a whole bunch of others thin manuals as well like a soldering guide and others. Just trying to help you out so you don't get screwed like i am right now, missing stuff.

Man Tweeked, you scared the crap out of me! With my luck I would be screwed like you and given KB's rep for customer support... I looked at my pics and realized you couldn't see that spot where the second hole should be. I went and looked and it looks like I do have it... (See first pic below)

I have the '96-'98 manual. I have all the other small ones. I found my switch chip. I found my injectors and plugs. I have all sorts of brackets. I have my Boost a Pump. I have all sorts of other crap that I will never know if I have it all till I do the actual install. But there's a lot of stuff. I'm dieing to do this install but I still need to buy some new plug wires and some gauges and an A piller mount. I'm going to take a week off in July to do my install with before and after Dynos.

Here a few more pics guys...

Whew, your good. When i didn't see the hole for the collant temp sensor on the drivers side it scared the crap out of me, I thought you were screwed too. Glad to here you got the right one. I hate to ask you this but can you take some pics of some of the brackets you have? I think i am still missing some. I'm sorry to keep bugging you like this but you have been more help by showing these pictures than KB ever has. I can kinda figure out what i'm missing by seeing what you have. There should be an upper alternator mount bracket where your plug wires mount and a big heavy steel main bracket. I'm curious to see what they look like. Thanks again for you help man.

No problem man. I'll get them for you as soon as I can. I need to take all this upstairs anyway and lay it out on the floor where my dog won't be around it. I'll unpack each pack, lay the stuff out and take a picture.

I like to document everything anyway.

I do have the intercooler but I don't have the airbox. The intercooler I believe mounts the same for both kits so that shouldn't be a problem. It's more the accesory mounting brackets I'm interested in, alternator, plug wires, coil packs, and such. If I have the same ones as you I'm gonna start ripping this thing apart tomorrow!

Okay... here is everything.

(With the exception of the SC which you've already seen)
