Losing Oil pressure on brand new motor help!!

Hey guys Cant figure out whats going on.

I have 0 mile motor, was assembled by experienced engine builder, fired it up everything was great. once it got warm the oil pressure started dropping to nothing. Pulled the pan bearings are fine no shavings, retorqued everything, tripple chekced everything, put it back togther same thing?!?!?!? Pull front timing cover to check freeze plugs hoping one fell out.. they were fine.... im outa ideas anyone else have anything...



just got to thinking im using the stock oil gauge setup? could the gauge itsself be bad?

It could be the gauge, or sender. Put a mechanical gauge on before assuming anything.

Hooked up an mechanical gauge... pressure seemed to be okay 20 at hot idle... drove it around the block got maybe 300ft and this happened
nothing like having a motor explode with 1 mile on it. Seems the wrist pin was starved for oil and welded itsself to the rod... destroyed everything....

Im thinking what happened, my guy put a deep sump pan, and stock pickup?? not sure if thats what happened, but either way its done for. Atleast my 1500 dollar heads didnt get injured.
