Losing Power???

After 2500rpm in 2nd gear my car doesnt seem as strong as it did before. I recently upgraded my FPR and a FP guage set to 39psi. I did start to hear some clicking recently??? PLEASE HELP...

How is it over 2500 in the other gears?

Not near enough info..fuel doesn't sound like a problem as much as this ticking may be an issue...when does it occur, how, where..etc.

First still seems pretty strong. I was driving down the highway the other day with the cruise control on and I went to down shift and more rpms shot all the way up, I immediately shut off the car and pulled off to the side of the road. Hopefully it diddnt screw anything up, but this could be part of my problem.

Bent pushrods maybe? Or valves... Do a compression test.
