Loss of mpgs

Hi I have a 14 mustang gt. I had my friend do an oil change and he forgot to tightly put oil cap fell off ran rough. Now my mpgs went way down. Still have power. Changed plugs, coil packs sending unit. Cleaned maf sensor, cleaned air cleaner. What could be the problem, No Check engine light.
Fairly stock, JLT intake, SCT tune.
Runs as strong as it ever did..
Not blowing any smoke.
Some plugs black, others clean.
Etc… plus I have a tune for 93 and 91 stock on the car.

I'm not familiar with the newer mustangs... but could try just disconnecting the battery for a few hours, reconnect it and see if it reset something that the computer was reading when the oil cap was off?

The time you spent driving with no oil cap, you were likely pulling in un-metered air.

I would try resetting the KAM. You may be able to do this through your SCT unit but be certain that you completely understand the process before doing it.

With a new oil cap and time for the EEC to re-learn, it may trim the fuel back down over some time.

My final suggestion would be to call SCT. This might be your [first] step as my previous suggestions might corrupt any data-log that you could potentially send to SCT.
