I lost lowbeam lamps today, however the highs still work.
I noticed when I had lows on and the radio, the radio kept making a clicking sound. I glanced at the volt gauge, and it was at 14, randomly spiking to 10.
Thinking my alternator was about to crap out, I shut off the headlamps to try to limp home. This solved the problem, so I am pretty sure its a short in the system. The highbeams work fine.
People have told me this might be a dimmer switch issue on the floor, or a faulty headlight switch.
Anyone have any ideas were I should start looking?
