lost my wheel lock key.....HELP

Whats up everyone, been a long time. Tryin to get things together with my motor. Someone broke into my car while it was sitting and stole my speakers, but now that im looking for things i need, i cant find my wheel lock key nor tools that i could have sworn i still had in there. Maybe i have misplaced them but i dont have time to pray for them to pop up. How the hell do you get wheel locks off? I have the kind that are circular on the outside with the pattern cut into the middle of them. I also have lug nuts that are the bullet style with the pattern on the outside but im pretty sure those will be fairly easy to hammer on a socket to get em off.

Grimper. There is a type of tool that i've seen on TV, it's a socket wrench that has a hollow center with some sort of spring loaded rods filling it. It's designed to fit over any size nut/bolthead. It conforms over it by having the spring loaded rods that are over the surface go inward while the ones around the edge of the nut stay down. Hard to explain but i've thought that something like that could be used for your application. Does this make sense?

Find a socket that BARELY fits over it, cut a piece of metal, something thin, to use as a shim, hammer this combination onto the offending lug and turn away. The key is to have the wege be VERY tight. since it is a single point of contact it is easier to hammer on. I couldn'g get the tight sicket hammered onto mine and I was only able to vice grip 2 of the 4. the other 2 came off sooo easy....

If you have a shop that you've bought tires from locally they'll usually do small stuff like this for free...Just have them crack those suckers off of there, bring them new ones from any parts store to put back on

Get a socket slightly bigger... then make a loop out of sand paper and wrap it around the lug... hammer on the socket... then turn

I just had mine removed a few weeks back, took it to the dealer, $20 bucks later all four off, and they didn't even have the key. Our 95's use McGuard, or least thats what was on mine. Couldn't even buy just off the shelf lug nuts due to the amount of taper thats on the shoulder

like this guy said, ANY tire shop can do this for you, and dont pay more than 20 bucks to get it done or your getting ripped off!

I have exactly same kit and it does wonders , tried to find better link but can't find it , I paid like 50 - 60 bucks for it

Or you can get the gator grip for 12 dollars and have it for future use. But hey that'd be too easy.

Had to do this to mine as well. The gator grip is too small to fit around the lug, I tried it. Ended up going to the local tire shop and getting an old mcgaurd lock that they didn't know what was for. Hammered it on and they came right off. Tried the socket deal but it just spun on the lug. Using another key gives you the new groves that you make when it gets hammered on for grip.

I lost mine too. It was a huge pain. I went to parts store ane got some extractors. They look like the ebay link. It is still a tough job at home because the locking lugs are hardened and completely round. You cant hammer on a socket, trust me they will break.

Is your car running? Drive down to discount or one of the other big tire/wheel places....custom wheels places too. if they sell the lugs....they usually have the key to go with them. I bought my lug key for like 8 bucks when I lost my old one

Hammering on a socket works just dandy

The thing is ... You need to hammer on an "IMPACT" socket

Regular chrome sockets won't take the abuse of using this method of
wheel lock removal and as said above ... they usually will just split when
you try to hammer them on good and tight
