I had asked before why I do not here Lightnings whine like my Cobra. I should have mentioned that my car has a 2.80 pulley. Does the reduced pulley increase the whine????

Very Good, I just remember when I test drove one (in 1999) I did not notice the jet like whine my Cobra has. I believe I would have been just as excited back then if I had heard it.
Just got my Lightning today... Was driving it home, slowed down on the freeway and then punched it, I definately heard a whine. It isn't that loud, you can't really hear it unless its way up there or you are trying to hear it, but I haven't gotten the opportunity to punch it from a stop . It's pretty sweet.
