I just bought a 99 mustang The mods are as followed: BBK equal length shorty headers, BBK O/R H pipe, 2 chamber flowmasters, 2.5" tips, 3.55 gears, Tri-Ax shifter, Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch, Diablo Sport Predator programmer. Lets just say she has a few problems....first off, i cannot get the check fuel cap light to go off. I have bought 5 fuel caps and it stays on. The ABS light stays on, The
Airbag light stays on. There is a very bad vibration in the drivetrain. The faster i go the worse the vibration gets, but when im in 3rd gear shifting into 4th, when the clutch gets to where it's about half engaged the vibration stops, but as soon as it's fully engaged it goes back to vibrating. I know it's alot but please help with any suggestions ( any suggestions other than sell the car, im tired of hearing that)

there might be a problem with the instrument cluster causing all the lights to be on. use the Predator to check for check engine codes. if you don't have check engine codes, it's the cluster that is the problem.

as far as the vibrations, i can only guess that their might be something wrong with the clutch install if it's RPM dependent. If the vibration is speed dependent, it's gotta be the driveshaft or the wheels not balanced.

I have a similar vibration and haven't been able to nail it down. It has to be in the tranny somewhere because I have the same issues. I've had the rear bearings and driveshaft U-joints replaced. Does your do it in 3rd AND 4th or just one gear. Mine only does it in 5th at 70. I can shift from 4th to 5th and let off the clutch with the car at idle and it helps.
