loud metalic ticking after installing clutch

I just installed a new king cobra clutch and evey so often I get an extremely loud ticking sound. metal to metal but it goes away after a couple of seconds. I replaced all of the parts with new ones and had the flywheel resurfaced. It sounds like it coming from the bellhousing area but it goes away before I can locate it. ANy ideas or suggestions
