I have an 04 mustang, it didn't start having any issues until most recently. Its driven on the regular, mainly the highway. but one day I was getting on the highway, ( with my top down) not sure if that matters, but I hadn't dropped it in a couple months. anyways, as soon as I got on the highway, it made a loud pop noise and then started sounding like a truck. Everytime I pressed on the gas it got louder, it drives a bit slower as well. I'll attach a video with the sound it makes.
I stopped by a car shop on the way home, but they were pretty busy and the guy said it could be an exhaust leak, but I was also told it could be something to do with the coils??
