Last year when I put my heads and everything on I noticed that my rockers sounded off louder than the 8th brigade. Well I didn't worry my than because I was happy to get my stuff on but now it annoys me. They are out of a 93 cobra. Is there something wrong? Anything I can do to quiet them down a bit?

You did put oil on them BEFOR you put the covers back on,right?

its normal to have valvetrain noise with aftermarket cams, also you might consider longer push rods

My mechanic did put oil on them but this was almost a year ago so I'm sure they're oiled now.

What would longer pushrods do?

I got lot of noise with my 1.7 rockers so I would say it is probably normal

i had the same thing happen when i put on edel.heads and comp cam.i changed to longer push rods and problem fixed

could be lose but like stated 1.7's are loud.
