louder or better

I need a mid pipe with my new set up I was wondering what will be better I have an e303 cam, GT40x heads and borla exhuast and shorties. At first I wanted an h-pipe with cats because I heard they were louder then x pipes with cats, but then I thought that the x pipe might sound better and smother and more deep. The borla's with stock h pipe and stock cam is pretty quite below 2000rpm but sounds good at wot. Any opinions on brands and h vs x (with cats)?

X- for me since they sound more raspy look into bassani new mid pipe's they have those new cat's that are supose to be the s-h-i-t. plus you can switch them out with none catted tube's if you like.

Are those the new Xb (or something like that) pipes that are aluminum and alot cheaper. Becuase I've had my eye on Bassani I heard they are the best but the stainless steel is expensive, is there any performance difference between the regular pipes and the more affordable ones.
