They are off now. I don't have a recent pic right now. It's been in my garage for a while now. The cobra stuff was all on when I got it. I guess the previous owner was planning on cloning one. Not me though. I stripped all the emblems and am going with a old school drag look. I got a 5inch cowl being put on and the wheels are being changed once I get my tax return.

Thats the way I have seen it. I tried it both ways, and I think the o/r LM2 route sounded the best....but not far off from a catted LM1 sound.

LTs can change the tone a bit, maybe make it just a little louder, but shouldnt add raspiness. Shorties....forget them. The stock manifolds are just as good as shorties especially for the amount of work involved.

Sounds good. Thanks for the suggestions. Very helpful. Think I'll probably go with longtubes and a catted x with LM1's.

I am running shortys with the same O/R mac prochamber and changed from flowmasters to Bassani catback. I have to say it is louder while sounding much better than the flos. I highly recommend BASSANI!!!!!!!!

I have a UPR off road X and Magnapacks! Love the sound! Had the same X and SLP Powerflo's and I loved those until a manhole cover paper machete'd one tailpipe

For loudness, I loved my Borla Stinger setup - loud...and different...not too many people run this catback. For loud and optimal tone (IMO), I loved the SLP LM2.

I ended up keeping my mac prochamber and added slp LM1's. I am very pleased with it. Sounds pretty mean to me. I think the prochamber mellowed it out a bit from sounding too raspy. Love it, only problem is I'm gonna get alot worse mpg from making it scream so much. lol

I'll put my 2 cents in on this one real fast even know its getting a bit older.
I have a 2000 gt vert if some go fast parts and last year decided to do headers, My setup all said and done ended up being bbk lt headers/ o/r X/ and I bought the slp lm1's for the simple fact they were 150 bucks total for both brand new and welded them into an old flowmaster 40 catback system. The result was the most obnoxiously loud car I have ever been around, I mean (and im being honest here) There was almost no difference from running it up the street open headers then with the catback instaled.

That being said it wasen't raspy just plain loud... 5 noise violation tickets later I find myself now with a pair of flows 40's back on the car lol

Yeah that's what I heard alot, and people warned against the lm1's but mine really isn't that insanely loud. And I've passed plenty of cops and haven't had a problem yet. Fingers crossed it stays that way.
