Got a set of OEM ones on the '93. The original owners of my old '88 ordered them from Ford and they came with a E3 date coded paperwork. They are aluminum and attatch with self adhesive tape. They hinge at the top to clean the glass and are held at the bottom with qtr turns. Had to put a dab or black RTV on the rivets a few years ago to get rid of some rattles, but otherwise they are holding up really well after three cars and about 200k miles
Saw a set at Carlisle for $40 and was just too dumb to go back and buy them before someone else got them.
Oh yeah, the car has mud flaps on it too... FMS truck flaps cut down to the width of the tires front and rear. Used to run a lot of gravel roads up mountains to cell sites and it was hard on the paint. Functional isn't stupid.
93stang, they don't obstuck vision at all, even keep the window clear when it rains, but become a pain when it snows.
I'll have to dig up some pics when I get home tomorow.
