YouTube - Rick Santelli - Chicago Tea Party

I don't know if this guy is just having a flash of brilliance (it IS CNBC) or if he's like this all the time. I really like what he's saying, here!

Not even a month into his Presidency and the stock market is at a 6 year low, today. Even Commies are speaking out about his goals. Lol!

What do you all think?

But, he is getting everything he wants. Congress is in his pocket. The media is in his shorts. (Cause they feel a tingling down their leg, when he's around.) 51 Million voters are BLIND. Just wait till one or all of these groups turn on him. We'll see his true colors. (I think he'll try to pull a dictator type rule under the guise of "keeping the peace".)

The video that I posted gives me hope that there are people in the media that are not afraid to speak their minds. The media is where this "fight" will be won or lost. The "Fairness Doctrine" scares me. In every Socialist/Communist regime, the government has ALWAYS had control of the media.

Rob, I agree with you, I was just saying that he is not alone, and yes, he has the right people in his pocket....you saw my original post before I edited it, you know my take on the majority of the media.......We will eventually see an implosion of some sort....... I am hanging on for teh ride...

I can't see the video since Youtube is blocked at work, but Rick Santelli is almost always right. As much as I find Cramer entertaining, Rick Santelli bashing him is even better.

But I completely disagree with the posted statement of the government having control over the media. It's largely the other way around. It's obvious when government officials react to news stories. When the government is forced to react to something being outed or touted in the media, they are no longer in control. Like a game of chess, if you are reacting to the other player, he is controlling your moves. Don't get me wrong, I despise the media.

The media, corporations and stock markets truely have (had) the upper hand, thus the government's reactionary strategy with this stimulus. It's 1/2 honest (but still reactionary) efforts and 1/2 media strategy. The hope is that the stock markets would approve and that the corporations would approve and that the media will create hope and consumer confidence. This is not government control. It's more like an economic arms race where nobody will really "win", save for a select few incredibly intellegent and already wealthy people who know exactly how to work the system.

I agree with both vids.

I shouldn't have to pay for somebody elses house or car or whatever. I got my own stuff to pay for, that I work for. I understand times are tough. I lost my job I know what its like. I went out and got another one though and I pay my own bills. I don't expect somebody else too.

I really like the Ted one. I have a carry permit. I've had it since the day I turned 21 (expect for the few days while it was getting renewed cause I waited too long) They can put forth stupid gun laws all they want. The criminals have them now they will still get them then. I think people should have the right to protect themselves and others if need be. Technically if I'm walking down the street and see a guy holding a gun to a lady's head I can't do **** about it. The guy has to aim his gun at me before I have a right to shoot him. I think thats BS. I'm like what do I have do say "hey ******* how bout you aim that at me"?

I watch CNBC quite a bit just to keep track of the Dow and oil prices and its good to see someone lash out at obama and his corrupt cabinet. I hate to say it but when this is all said and done America will be in worse shape w/ a much larger deficit and skyrocketing inflation and obama will go down as our worse president in US history.

The good news that I'm gleaning from all the stuff he's doing is that he will be thoroughly pissing-off the true Conservatives in this country. That's good news because it will strengthen that "base" and make us much stronger than we are now. (I say me, meaning myself and other p-o'ed Conservatives.) When we all learn that we have to stand-up and make noise when we are unhappy with the way things are going in DC, is when we are "turning the corner". (That's why I put this video up, I am raising up/supporting someone that is "making a little noise".)

Obama and his band of thieves WILL over reach his "power" and THAT'S when we get a chance to take America back. I can't wait!!

By the time this is done I think it may lead to a mass gathering of people at the foot of the capital steps reminding them just who does run the country

the gathering should of happen during Bush's first term, it's a little too late for a gathering. and a gathering will get nothing done, but waste time.
one problem i see is everyone labels themselves as some sort of political party. where it's lib, conservative, conservative liberal, some religous right wing, or dem, republican, and a mixture of all them. and everyone is to caught up in proclaiming what party they belong with and what they think is right, it just turns everything into a cluster ****, and gets nothing done. instead of coming together as Americans and fighting together for whats right for Americans. instead of backing up what a party wants. what ever happen to backing up whats the best for America? and not some party with an agenda?
the only way to get the attention of the people in DC is to stop this country in its tracks. bring it to it's knees and you will see change. but the majority are to worried about being able to text massaging while going on with nonsense all while having a false sense of freedom and they gobble it up like hogs.
