Recently, notably after installing my CAI, I have notice that my car on occasion idles very low. It starts to shake and feels like its about to stall out. It has done this before, but only when it was cold at and when i first started it up, but now, its even when the engine has warmed up that it happens sometimes. Is this something I need to really worry about or can i wait until Thanksgiving when I go home and take it to the shop to check out the clutch and TO bearing? (BtW, i only frive it a couple times a week so its not like i put alot of miles on it, excluding the trip home.)

my sisters car does this after we put the CAI on her car but once its warmed up it goes away. but she drives a 2000 eclipse gt. my girlfriend has a 98 v6 with a MAC CAI and hers is fine, never had a problem. 1st try cleaning the mass air flow sensor with rubbing alcohol and a q-tip (the actual sensor is just a tiny wire) because maybe it got dirty when you installed it. having the sensor dirty actually causes your car to run crappy. second is if its a namebrand one send it back and get a new one, if its one of those generic e-bay ones i guess your stuck with it. GOOD LUCK!
