I need to know how this goes on. Does it just screw in or does the nut squeeze it together like a compression fitting? I'm getting small oil seepage from the sender itself but it runs over the nut. I'm wanting to just put JB Weld around the sender inside the nut.

if i remember correctly it just screws in. try unscrewing it and wrapping it with some teflon tape... or jb weld works too!

I couldn't get it off, I don't have a wrench big enough. I just jb'd around the sensor inside the nut.

I wasn't asking for favors...why would I want him to do it to me? I was just trying to help him with HIS problem!
