Low mileage fox "DD's"

Ok guys, my buddy just bought a really nice 93 black LX with under 50k on it. I was impressed how nice it was! I have not seen a cleaner fox to date. It even had the wiper motor cover (didnt know it existed).

Post up stats/pix of your low mileage foxes. Im not interested in the foxes with under 5k miles as they are in a different catagory and mine as well be cryogenicly frozen. I want to see cars you guys picked up with low mileage on the clock. Prices too if you feel like sharing. Lets see em I know they are out there!!

I hate putfile btw.

I gotta agree, it'd be tough for me to buy a low-mileage Fox of ANY year and just use it for a DD ... even if it was a four-banger (in which case a V8 swap would be MANDATORY). Fox DD's should be, IMO, high-mileage V8's and beat-up four-bangers; enjoy a low-mileage car tenderly while it's still a low-mileage car ... and then ride the hell out of it ... and then rebuild it again from the ground up and treat it like a low-mileage car, again. :D

My '88 had 37k on it when I bought it from the original owner last August. It had a full exhaust that he had put on 2 years previous and it still had the stickers on it. He never drove the car. I put close to 7k miles on it in about 6 months, then broke the t5. It's been sitting since then, but will be on the road again soon hopefully. I have no problem whatsoever driving it, and hammering on it. It's meant to be driven and driven hard, regardless of mileage.

Here's mine I got in in 2001 with 38000 miles. It now has 55000. The second picture shows what happens when old ladies don't see you turning left, it took about a year to get it back on the road after that. You can see some more pics at http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2120752 make sure you check out the second page.

Ah, my old 93!

Winter was ending, my 89 was under the knife for a vortech install, and I found this gem for 7K. It had 64K miles on it, not a ding, and only gears, exhaust, a stereo, and tint. I was young, dumb, and had some cash burning a hole in my pocket. The bank was willing to give me the extra needed. It was delivered to my house later than week. Having this, really made me not care about finishing up my 89. I drove the 93 to WFC, several cars shows, a random last minute trip to Chicago for a sold out concert with only hopes of finding a scalper with a ticket, and other fun trips. Never once did she let me down. I always parked in the deep 40 of the school lot, as well as at work. about 1.5 years later(and about 8-9K miles later), I had plans to move to FL. I simply mentioned the thought of selling it(and bringing my 89 to FL as my only car). Later than day I had a PM offering my $6,500. I snapped off a good 40 pics the following day, and the dude wired me the cash the following. 3 days later I picked him up at the airport. She left just as easy as she came. :(

My only regret is not ebaying it. The dude who bought it, ebayed it 6-7 months later and got $7,600 for it.

theres a guy in my hometown that has an 88 black notch with faded red interior and and is an automatic. It has 56k orig. Granted its pretty much rust free, but when asked how much he was looking to get he said 8500 firm. I laughed and said good luck!
Maybe someone would pay that much, but not me! I was kind of hoping it was around 3 grand (or lower!!) and I could part together a black or even gray interior and swap in a T5 and have a sweeeet cruiser.
