By low mount alternator kit, do you mean locating the alternator down further on the front of the engine? Like where/by the smog pump is?

Is this is what you mean, I know some supercharger kits relocate the alternator down there. Maybe you can find one of those brackets somewhere???

Otherwise you will probably have to make your own...

Yea,that is what in mean,i'm not running a.c. or power steering I might even run a elec. water pump ,I think lowering the alt. will clean up the look under the hood.
And thanks for the idea.

I run the Moroso alternator kit, it has the alternator down a little lower. I just run a crank pulley and electric water pump and nothing else. As for the wheel without any cutting/modifying a 15x11 is about the biggest you can go. I run a 28x10.5 tire and 15x10 (w/ 6" backspacing) with no modifications.

Thanks Redsnk95,will a 10x15 with a 6.5 b.s. work? And your car is exactly what I'm trying to do.A 10.66,347 NA is great! My last car was a 434 ci.race gas, small block chevy and only ran a 10.26@130 NA. at 3000 lbs. Would mind sharing your combo,or can I contact you and ask you some questions,i've had alot of cars but this is my first ford build up.

The 6.5 might work...you will need to do some work on the back side of the inner fender since you are pulling the wheel in so much..but nothing a BFH can't fix.

My combo is pretty simple:
347 11:1/AFR 205s/AFM cam/TFS Box intake/C4/good converter/3200lbs/pump gas. Everything is out of the box. If you have specific questions feel free to shoot me a PM or ask here nothing to hide on my combo.

Here are a few pics of the alternator bracket....very simple to use costs about $80 from Jegs. I use a 27.5" belt. Please excuse the belt dust. Only advice I can give is do not use the POS bolt they give you...it broke on me and caused a bunch of belt slippage. I went to the hardware store and pickedup a nice thick Grade 8 bolt and it works perfect.

Just search on Jegs or Summit look for the SBF alternator bracket by Moroso, its like $90 or so.

Ford302Redneck: I have no clue how much power the motor makes it has never been on an engine dyno nor has the car been on a chassis dyno. You can do the math 126 mph @ 3200lbs to get a rough guesstimate.

Het Redsnk95 what kind of wheels are you running? I'm having a hard time finding a 15x10 with a 6.0 backspace.

Troy, didn't you have a rousch racing bracket at one time? I too have been looking for a solution to run the alt. as a tensioner and to delete the stock alt/smog bracket. Was this kit made for our cars?

Edit: Is this it?

That's the one. It is not 94/95 specific but it works perfectly. I searched and searched for a 94/95 specific setup but as always we are the red-headed step child for special parts. I went through 4 setups (including the Roush bracket) till I was able to get the Moroso to work and it works just fine.

Paul, also hope to have some new numbers for ya in about a month. Got my converter reworked (hopefully we didn't go too crazy with it...lol) and a new cam from AFM, the new setup should see 6k rpms off the line, 7300 shift point and since I am dropping down to a 26" tire (from the 28") we're gonna zing the motor to about 7600 out the back end...lol...hopefully she holds. I don't think she'll mph much more than she does now...probably 127-128 but the front half of the track should be a huge improvement. And then I should get the new meter from AFM by March to test out.
