What causes low speed bucking? Today I drove my car for the first long trip after the cam swap and a lot of fuel problems. It drives fine, and idles fine, but if I cruise any lower than at 2000 rpm's, it has a buck to it. Nothing super dramatic, but it's an annoyance. I remember driving the car when it was stock or close to it, and if you went too low on the tach in any certain gear and hit the gas, you just got a bog type effect until the rpm's came up. An example of what happened today, is if in thrid gear, and cruising to maintain a speed of 30 mph, the car would have a little bit of jerking to it. It does not do it when giving it a little gas, just when you back off the gas and try to cruise.

could be bad or old 02 sensors, could just be to rich on fuel. maybe the eec needs time to adjust to the new cam.

Its definitely your cam. Depending on how aggressive the grind is on the cam will determine how driveability is at low rpms. It will probably get a little better after the computer has some time to adjust.

I had tfs 1 cam in my vert with afr 165 heads but i had 24# injs It drove fine all the time. any rpm
