low speed stumble issue! some help

i have a new engine i have just fin building and upon driving it i noticed to have a low speed stumble to it with a load. anyone have any ideas?

the car runs fine but when you are at an steady speed/Rpm and you step on it, it hesitates for about 3 sec's than goes away, it sometimes backfires

mabye a timing issue... is the spout connector in... im just throwing things out there.

That's why it is a good idea to use the sig under the user control panel (User CP) option. It allows you to post your car year & mods, which help greatly when troubleshooting things. No, it is not there for us to snoop and see any "Secrets" you have hidden away under the hood. Be a good stangnetter and update you sig for future reference & don't keep us guessing.

I meant like year and trim, mods, state of motor (stock, built, etc) and stuff like that. I dont even know if you are SD or MAF, have any emissions stuff deleted, etc.

The magic ball in my avatar doesnt really help.

it is an built sportsman block with Z heads,Z cam. Efi with 255 pump and 30lb injectors at 46 psi running, Maf converted, base timming is at 12 degrees

30lbs at 46 psi seems like it would be too much fuel IMO.

try checking the tp sensor voltage. make sure it has a smooth continuously changing reading as you open and close the throttle.

i agree that it would have a little to much fuel with 30lbs injectors at 46psi, but i do notice the air fuel gauge leaning out when it happens

Its the MAF.

Either get a new meter such as a Pro-M or whoever they are now

-or-

Find somebody to work with the EEC files and fix your MAF transfer curve so that it runs properly at 39 psi of fuel pressure
