Lower control arm bolts

I have TCP eccentric eliminators on my lower control arms. I need to loosen the bolt on both sides and was wondering if it is safe to do so with the front wheel up on ramps with the weight of the car on the suspension. I am not taking the bolt out, or even the nut off, I just need to loosen it slightly

Also, I need to remove the sway bar bushing on each frame rail to grease them and was wondering if the bar is going to try and break my fingers if I remove the bushing brackets witht he weight on the front suspension.

I would recommend supporting the car by the chassis when loosening any suspension component hardware. Any of the "what if" scenarios will play out better if you're just dealing with the weight of the suspension loading the bolt versus the entire front weight of the car. Safety first.

As far as the anti-roll bar bushings, you're okay to loosen those as long as both sides of the suspension are equally weighted. Either both at full extension or both loaded. If the suspension is loaded unequally the anti-roll bar will have stored energy and will snap back to its at rest position once a bracket or endlink is unbolted.
