Has anyone had experience with different types of lower control arms ? I don't want any wheel hop issues since I just did a gear/traction lok upgrade. I don't know if I'm going to have a problem yet either. I did have that problem on my 65 mustang but that was a completely different car/setup/v8 monster. I fixed that but not with control arms. I'm getting a ton more torque to the rear wheels after putting in a Stallion billit 2800 stall torque converter. I'd like to avoid this before it happens since I know what kind of damage it can do if it does happen. Suspension issues are my weakness at this point with this 2003 V6 Stang. It just has hankooks performance radials on 16 x 8 wheels , no drag slicks. Thanks !

Did you get the axle dampers (second side mounted shocks) when you upgraded your axle? If not, then that's your whole problem right there. Its the entire reason why GT's don't hop and V6's do.no axle dampers. If you did get them, did you get them used or new? If used then they could be worn out.

Not sure on the control arms.I think they change the position of where the spring sits,or it may just be a weight reducing issue.I dont know the whole benefit.
