I am wanting to purchase and install an aftermarket intake temperature sensor on the discharge side of my Kenne Bell that can be monitored through a 2 1/4" guage.

95 Cobra
DSS 331
Kenne Bell 1.7 base model blower
GT40 lower intake.

I'm going to be installing a Snow Performance Stage II kit on the car. I have a multi tune chip from SCT. The tune I have now will stay (NO METH). A second tune will be saved with the METH on. I'm wanting to find someone that has installed a 2 1/4" guage to monitor the after boost temp changes. I'm looking for something that is accurate and shows the fast change in temps. I was looking at the Autometer 5772 or 5773. However, I can not find anyone that has installed these on a 5.0 with a Kenne Bell, or wether or not those sensors that come with those can be mounted in the lower intake?
Does anyone on here have first hand knowledge of what will work?
Will infact these Autometer 5572 or 5773 will work?

I'm not going to use a hand help TWEEZER or scan tools to monitor the AIT I have in the fifth rail (relocated there with a 93 cobra intake). My tuner doesn't want me to tap into the stock AIT for fear of getting bad readings to my computer.

A couple of years ago I talked to a guy on here that had first hand knowlegde of Kenne Bells on 94 and 95 mustangs and infact raced them....If anyone know his name or screen name please let me know....Thanks

If anyone can help me out please post up.
