Lowered - Front Tires Rubbing

having an issue with the front tires rubbing the front of the front fenders. Car drives well and the tires are stock size. The car has been lowered 1 inch using different coil springs.

What size are the tires,69 has a larger wheel opening than the earlier years . Are the wheels moved to far forward in the opening ? The radius rods are adjustable on a 69

By radius rods you are talking strut rods right. Can the wheels be moved back in the wells using these. Won’t that screw alignment.

It would have to be realigned but yes you can move the tires back some ,how bad do they hit?

The tires I chose a P225R 14 I’m thinking that maybe they are to wide for the front. The wheel appears to be centered in the well. And for a self alignment it drives better that it ever did. So may be a 215R 14 instead.

It could also be the wheel offset ,a slightly narrow tire could make the difference

Looks like you need to adjust your caster as well. Do you have a pic of the rear of the tire clearance?

I will post picture today. What do you recommend the caster to be. I have heard many things.

Around 1 to 2.5 degrees positive. With your clearance issue you would probly be better to go to 2.5 pos. This will shift you tire rearwards.
Camber would be around 1/2 deg neg

I seams to me that if 2.5 is good +5 would find it further back not forward. But I will give it a go.
