Lowering Blocks...

go to a local off road shop and find cast steel blocks instead of the cast aluminum junk. The ones from an off road place should also be tappered so the pinion angle won't change to the point it will cause horrible drive line vibration.
I live in a small town and dont have any specialty shops like that...do you know any online places?
Unfortunately, "best" and "cheapest" are usually mutually exclusive terms. But for the money, Mustangs Unlimited has solid 1" blocks

You might have to buy longer U bolts and I don't know if they're included in the deal. NPD also sells 1" lowering blocks but they're not solid but U bolts are included, all for about $30. Good luck...
