Know of a good place in or near the Auburn area that could do a spring install on my 04 Cobra? Have heard that this is can be a major PITA on IRS cars, so not even going to attempt this at home. Also, what would be a reasonable fee for this install?

Thanks
Chris

Try the Southeast boards for info on a place to get the springs done. I agree, they are a pain to do in your driveway as well as dangerous if you make a mistake. I had the receipt for the spring install the previous owner had on my old 96, but gave it to the person I sold the car to. I think it was around a couple hundreds bucks.

I dont remember having any extra problems with my t-bird irs, compared to my 97 solid rear. just the front struts didn't want to line up. but we did c.c. plates, springs, struts and shocks, and gears all in one day, in a garage on the ground. yes it can be dangerous!!!!!!!!
