ok so here we go. I just ordered my new tires, cause rims are on the way and i am thinking of getting lowering springs. 1.5 inches. cause the guy will give me a deal. I was wondering if my tires and suspension will be ok for a month or two because i wont have enough money for caster/camber plates before that. my main concern is tire wear...but also wondering any of the drawbacks? or maybe it will be fine for a month or two, its my daily driver. thx guys!

The stock camber plates should handle a 1.5 inch drop if most components in the front suspension are in decent shape (strut bushings and struts must be in goodshape)

Anything over 1.5 inches on a stock 5.0 would require CC plates.

Just get an alignment as soon as the drop is done and your tires will be fine.

When I dropped my 1990 1.5" the stock plates did not allow for proper camber alignment because my struts and strut bushings at the top by the caster plates were worn so I HAD to get CC plates right away or else the inner tire edge would have worn out too quickly.

Eventually I got new Tokico struts and shocks and lowered it more to about 2" more.

Good luck

I got the Eibach Prokit which is supposed to be a 1inch front and 1.5 inch rear drop.

I didn't have to get CC plates either.I did at the time also install new Tokico shocks/struts at the time as well,so that might have had something to do with it as well.
