So I made up my mind to Finally lower my car. there are a lot of springs to choose from - H&R, Eibach, Steeda, Ford Racing, BBK.

I think some ware around a 1-1/2" will be good.

I was thinking about getting the BBK because of price. or do you get what you pay for.

My mid pipe and headers are BBK and they seem to be fine.

what do you guys think?

I installed H&R SS and love them. Steeda, Eibach, and FRPP C springs all have the same spring rates so they should all ride the same. Search there is a lot of info on this site for springs.

I hear a lot of good things about the H&R SS springs. I had BBK springs on my 00 gt I had and I loved them. It wasnt to low, and it def. wasnt stock. I thought they were the perfect ride height. My current 01 gt has sportlines on it, and I will say this, its a royal PITA. I can hardly get a low profile floor jack under the car. I always find myself jacking it up with the subframes and even then I hit the side skirts......I would go BBK

I have 275/40/17 in the front, if I lower it with the H&R springs will there be rubbing? Will I have to go with a less drastic drop, like the ford C-springs?

I dont know how much drop with the bbk's as they were on the car when I got it. I never had any problems jacking the car up with my low profile jack. Now with the sportlines in my new car, its a royal PITA

Here are pics of my old gt with bbk's
