lowering, THEN c/c plates?

tomorro im gonna pick up a set of sportlines from a guy a a few minutes away....if i install the springs tomorro when i get back, and get the c/c plates like 2-3 days later, would the car be ok to drive for the time being?? or does it make sense to install the c/c plates, then the springs....only reason why i wanna install em tomorro is that ill have help....

they're an easy install, just take ur time, spray some PB Blaster on all the bolts before ya start to make it a little easier. I still havent aligned mine, i gotta call about it friday, and get it done, but my car hadent been aligned ever, so the factory rivets were still in, so its still in alignment, just the bottom of the wheel sticks out futher than the top.

I'd just wait...really

my car has had sportline springs (2" drop) with no c/c plates forever now and i havent had any problems except a bit of added tire wear on the inside from the negative camber. you will be all right for a few days before getting the plates.

aite good to know...i guess my question was, and i working in reverse order?? lets see if i understand this...basically the only thing i ahve to do to install the c/c plates is unbolt the top and bottom of the shocks, take them out, unbolt and un-rivet the stock "c/c plates", bolt the new ones on, drill the 4th hole, and bolt the shocks back in?? it has nothing to do with the spring right?

you only have to drill the 4th hole if you get 4 bolt c/c plates, i have the steeda steel 3 bolts and they are quite nice...

on my upr plates, the 4th hole was optional, however, you WILL have to take the strut off again with each install.
