LT Header install...

So i finally started to install my headers. I figure i'll do the install with K-member in place(jack up motor and what not). not few hours in to job, i now relized that install LT or any header for that matter with K-member in place is just plain BS... i can't get to anything... I'm struggling to get the starter out. and non of my hand tool fits between starter and belhousing to undo the bolt. and thats easier bolt. never mind the hiddlen starter bolt.


K-member is going to come off now...

Yeah that's what I hear and the fact that most LT you have to pull them in order to pull tranny has me saying no to LT's. Let us know if you figure anything out.

ya.. since i can not get the darn top starter bolts, i have to take the K-member off.



who the hell designed our car? servicability just plain suckass on our car..... i installed header on my old MR2, and it took me 45mion to do so!!!

lol, I think I told you to remove it! You did the same thing I did.. except we got the start out.. we actually got one header half way bolted on.. and then we realized there's no way we're ever going to get the rest of the bolts lol. Good luck to ya man, you're gonna think its worth all the hard work when it's done.

By the way, once I take K-Member off, can it be off of aligment? it looks like bolt holes have some room to move?
