LT Headers. Yay or Nay? Help Me Out!

I originally wanted to get a MAC O/R Prochamber with a set of Magnapacks out back. But, now I am contemplating getting a set of MAC LT Headers, since I picked up some extra money.

Thus my question, what exactly will LT Headers do for me? Are they worth the extra money? What are the benefits, I know they beef up the sound a little (by how much) and possibly add some HP, right??

These will be put on a 2002 GT. So as I said before the setup would be, MAC LT's, MAC O/R Prochamber, and Packs.

And the install is not a problem, I already have someone putting the entire setup in for me at $200. Very cool guy who belongs to my Mustang Club, and has an 04' GT as well as his own shop, so he knows his way around Mustangs.

And lastly, my car is lowered. H&R Sports (1.6' Front, 1.5' Rear). How far do the headers hang compared to stock. This is my daily driver and I live in Chicago, so am I gonna be scraping up my undercarriage all the time? For those who have lowered cars with LT's, how is the ride?

Thank you for your input, just want to make the best decision possible, and not kick myself in the ass later for not getting them! :bang:

I have the SLP creamic LTs and I love em! :nice:

my car is lowered with Steeda Sport springs and its been good so far! :)

as far as being louder, they say LTs will actually make your car more quiet at idle.. i installed all of my exhaust at once so i couldn't really say if thats true or not because it was much louder at idle

oh and the power gains are great, after the install of the lts, o/r x-pipe and catback my down low power was hurting some.. but it feels a lot better after i installed the tb and plenum and the tune.. my numbers were 270.7 rwhp and 306.6 rwtq with the mods listed in my sig

Everyone that I have talked to with LT's said it quiets the exhaust down rather than making it louder!
ive heard that lt's quiet the exhaust down at idle, which surprises a lot of people. but, they also say it screams like a raped ape at WOT
