A friend at work installed the pypes Lts on his buddies 02 gt and he said it was a horrible fit. Did alot of hammering to get to fit said wasnt worth it, guess you get what you pay for. That was on a lift 2, he said would have been impossible on jack stands.

Hmm, thanks for the info. They'd be going in already bolted on the cylinder head during the cylinder head install. I'm really just trying to figure out if you can use non SLP headers on the SLP x pipe once the arms are taken off.

CobraRed, what i would do is buy some MAC longtubes, buy some collectors and weld them on to your SLP X so it can bolt onto the MAC headers.

I think he read just the first post, and is saying for you wheels>exhaust at this point

I would do wheels first too

Really IMO for the cost outlay and minimal hp increase I would do all the other mods first and since it appears you have addressed the intake/exhaust/suspension that the next mods should be wheels and brakes.
The car already makes too much power for its tire and brake combo from the factory.
Power is nothing without controll
Also while accelerating fast is great its just as important to stop faster, even if its to avoid the speed trap

That's what i was thinking. I just wonder if i have enough room in between the header and the cats or if there will be too much of a difference in height.

My mide pipes looks like this, so not the standard ball-joint that most shortie mid's are:

this being what mates with it:

I just installed BBK longtubes on my car with the lethal performance x-pipe and the fit was perfect! I highly recommend Lethalperformance.com

They had great customer service and discounted the BBK's because the Mac LT's were on eternal backorder.
