My car has gray lx rear seats, and beat up gt front seats. I have a chance to get the matchin lx front seats in great condition for barely anything. IIRC, they are alot lighter without all the power lumbar crap and all right? Are there any downsides to them?
Thanks alot

I assume you are talking about the 'base cloth' seats. The '89+ 5.0 LX's actually had the same 'sport cloth' seats that the GT's had. I'm sure the base cloth seats weigh a bit less, but they are kind of cheap/ratty looking IMO. All depends on what you're after. I guess I'd rather have the base cloth's in good condition over torn up sport cloth.

yea, theyre cloth. I mean Im probly gonna be stepping up to newer leather seats in a few months, but figured I would consider putting these in for now, and besides I oculd put my current seats in another car.

I was a happy day when i ditch my base model seats for a set of Black sport seats.

Now i'm trying to get some SN95 black leather seats

i picked up a set of grey leather seats from a 93 gt with tracks for $30, got some spray dye an dyed them black an they look good for $40 total. i had the cheap sport seats from ebay, they were comfortable but sliding in an out over the side/hip bolsters caused rapid wearing an i got rid of them.
