Well, in some cases (like mine) i have the same seats that came in the GT in my LX (power lumbar and everything) i think the other seats that came in the LX were only offered in the 4 cyl cars, and look like they offer no support. Well, the sport seats dont offer a whole lot as it is, but the other ones look like poop and have a flatter seating area. theres a picture of them on my interior thread http://forums.stangnet.com/showpost.php?p=5834548&postcount=23

Either one is heavy and not near as good as some of the aftermarket varieties. Have you ever picked up a factory seat, rails and all??? If you want some light seats, get the Kirkey Alumimum seats. That is what I'm going to do, maby I should just go do that today!!! Not very comfortable but I like them. The Summit/Jegs drag seats are light and cheap too, and they also sell padded one's that arn't bad. Just don't get the APC seats, they are painfull.

I do believe the power lumbar seats were only offered in the lx hatchbacks up intil 90 or 91...where they finally became available on the notch's.

And your right...they are way to flat and offer no support whatsoever.

stock front power seats weigh about 90 pounds, good aftermarket ones are alot lighter (summit/jegs are only about 10 pounds lighter FYI)
