MAC Caster / Camber Plate and Steeda front coil spring spacer plate install

Finally got around to installing the MAC caster camber plates in the '93 today. Complete PITA sums it up at best. I chose the MAC's over the Steeda setup just to keep away from the solid bearing NVH issues.

No instructions made a fun start. Mocked it up and measured everything and as recieved they must not want you to use a dust boot because I was about 3/4" short on shims with the boot and I would not be able to put the strut locking nut on... I ended up cutting the stock spacer down to 30mm and cut the rubber off the top of the dustboot with the bandsaw in order to get it to bolt together and still be adjustable without sandwiching itself. Took about three hours on the drivers side and got it down to one and a half on the passengers.

Also while brousing the new Steeda catalog I saw a 1/4" front coil spring spacer that is supposed to raise the front of the car 1/2" for $9 each. Took a spare rubber isolator to work and whittled out two on the lathe and popped them in too. Actually raised the car 1" in the front so now I'm 25.5" in the front and 26.5" in the rear to the wheel wells with B springs and stock isolators (and the shim). The car sits much nicer and I can even get the jack under it. The car almost looks unlowered...

Tomorow I plan on swapping out the stock upper control arms for a set of Steeda aluminums I got at Carlisle for $120 to go along with the aluminum lowers I put in last year.
