Mac Coldair Intake Install

I'm having one helleva time getting the pipe through the fenderwell bracket which has a blue rubber seal. Has anybody else had this problem? Thanks.

yeah i had the same problem, it came no where near close to fitting, i just took a pair of dikes and cut about 3/4" out off that blue rubber ring around the fenderwell peice, , i was able to spread it out more then becareful too with the metal nipple for that little crankcase e-vac line that goes back into tthe valvecover, i had to getr it just right for it to stay in the CAI w/o popping off. and i dont care what anyone says it did make a difference of my cobra. and i just installed my UPR o/r X pipe bolted to my stock "sport tuned" mufflers, and it sounds awsome now

lube it with some ky jelly and it will slide in alot easier, seriously, it worked for me

Yeah i put some motor oil around it and wrestled with it for a while. I finally got it in but it was tough.
