Well I got half way into putting on my control arms, and the axle won't push foreward to connect the lower control arm. I'm thinking I'm going to have to tear the old control arms off the other side before I'm going to be able to get it on. Anyone have a good explaination of how to put these things on. I'm pretty much learning this as I go. What's going on = control arms, springs, shocks. Any help would be great!

This is common. I use a come-along and hook it to the rear and and to the front K member and "pull" the rear back into place. Its not hard and you may be able to have someone push it with their foot forward enough to get the bolts in. If its really hard to rotate then stop as something may be wrong.

Yea I really had to pound on the upper control arm to get the bolt to slide through the housing on the axle. I snugged it up a little bit and lifted the axle by hand and it seems like nothing is binding. So I think I'm ok as far as lining everything up. Unfortunately I tried the "let another guy push it with his foot," and that didn't work. I can barely get the control arm to touch the housing. Would it be to my benefit to take off the other side and do them all at once, or would it make things worse?

EDIT: Just priced a come-along....I'll be picking one up today, thanks!
