I HAVE A SLIGHTLY MODIFIED 1990 5.0 AND HAVE A QUICK QUESTION ON WHY MY CAR WONT PASS EMMISIONS.FIRST OF ALL I HAVE INSTALED 373 GEARS FOR A LITTLE JUMP OF THE LINE, THEN I INSTALLED MAC LONG TUBE HEADERS WITH THE HIGH FLOW CAT H PIPE.I SET THE TIMING BACK TO THE FACTORY SPECS DID A FULL TUNE UP ON HER(PLUGS,WIRES,CAP.ROTOR,AND A FRESH OIL CHANGE)AND SHE STILL WONT PASS ONTARIO (CANADA)TESTS.ANY HELP OUT THERE, ID REALLY APPRECIATE IT THANKS.

Go stock manifolds, the Lt's may be flowing too freely screwing with your O2 readings and or the pipe from the smog pump to the h MUST be intact. Look at the gauranted to pass stuff at Canadian tire it my drop your numbers...fill the tank run it through then fill her up again and bring it to the test depot HOT..I mean normal running temp of at least 20-30minutes running time.
